Lapsang Souchong Smoked Tea
A specialty tea of the Fujian province in China that has a sweet, refreshing, yet smoky flavour that is unique to this tea. In the final stage of production, the tea is hung in baskets over smoking pine wood fires to dry which imbues the flavour of pine resin into it. The intensely black leaves give a dark red liquor (infusion) that has a distinctive smoky aroma and taste.
