Buckwheat (surprise) is not actually a wheat, it is a grain. It can be used a substitute for rice, quinoa and couscous. It's slightly bitter nutty flavour compliments both savoury and sweet dishes extremely well. You can even combined buckwheat with nuts and fruits to create breakfast bars or even use it instead of porridge in your breakfast. Buckwheat is also low in fat, sugar and contains not gluten while being a excellent source of vegan proteins.

Alternatively, order online and we will send it to you in environmentally friendly, plastic-free packaging. Once you have your raw buckwheat at home, make sure to store them inside an airtight container in a cool, dry and dark place.
Cooking Instruction
1. Rinse and add to pan. 2. Add 2 cups of water per cup of raw or un-soaked buckwheat. 3. Bring to the boil and cook for 15-20 minutes.
